Arsenal faced another squad blow during their Premier League game against Wolves.
Ben White, who was just getting back into form after a string of previous injuries, couldn’t continue and had to be subbed off still in the first half. He was replaced by young Miles Lewis-Skelly.
The 28-year-old defender, for whom this was the fourth straight start (first time in a year), felt pain in his leg around the 30th minute. According to early reports, the player aggravated an old hamstring issue.
This injury is yet another setback for Mikel Arteta’s defensive line. This season, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Cristian Mosquera have already been through the treatment room.
The irony is that Saliba returned to the starting lineup in this very match, but the team immediately lost another key defender.
