On Saturday, December 21, the final match of the 15th round of the German Bundesliga took place. The current league leaders — Bayern Munich — travelled to face one of the bottom sides, Heidenheim.
The Munich side left their opponents with no chance whatsoever, securing a comfortable 4:0 victory. Vincent Kompany’s men controlled the game from start to finish and calmly converted their superior class into goals.
Harry Kane put the cherry on top by scoring right at the death. This goal became the Englishman’s 30th across all competitions this season.
After 15 rounds Bayern finish the calendar year top of the Bundesliga table with 41 points. Heidenheim stay stuck in 17th place with just 11 points.
