Liverpool grab crazy win with two red cards madness

In round 17 of the Premier League Tottenham welcomed Liverpool to their ground. Guests took the three points in a wild 2-1 victory.

First half was proper intense but no goals at all. On 33 minute Spurs went down to ten men after Xavi Simons got straight red for bad tackle on Van Dijk. Even so Tottenham made few half chances but Liverpool backline plus Vicario in goal was very solid.

Second half finally got goals. Alexander Isak put Liverpool ahead on 56th minute from nice pass by Wirtz, but unfortunatly he got injured couple minutes later and had to go off. Then 66th minute Hugo Ekitike made it 2-0 after good cross from Frimpong. Spurs pulled one back at 83 through Richarlison.

In added time it got even more mental — Romero got second yellow and was sent off, so Tottenham finished with nine men. Liverpool somehow held on though.

After this match Tottenham are 13th with 22 points, Liverpool climb to 5th with 29.
