Barcelona Club to allow Madrid club to review all of Barcelona’s financial records from 2010-2021, including Audits, Inspections, Forensic Reports and other financial reviews.
This according to a report published today (Sunday) by Mundo Deportivo.
Specifically, the Madrid club is seeking the right to view financial reviews completed by accounting and auditing firms, such as KPMG, PwC, Deloitte and Kroll regarding payments currently being investigated, over an 11 year period (between 2010 and 2021).
In addition, Real Madrid is also seeking to gain access to over 600 documents that were previously submitted to the court by Barcelona, on or around July 2023 and the Internal Investigation documentation conducted by the club itself.
Ultimately the objective of the Real Madrid club, is to determine the actual reasons behind the payments made to former referee José María Enríquez Negreira.
The Judge will have the final say on whether Real Madrid will be granted access to these records.
