In the 17th round of the Premier League, Aston Villa welcomed Manchester United to Villa Park in Birmingham.
On 45 minutes Morgan Rogers opened the scoring with a stunning strike right into the top corner and put the Villans ahead. But still before halftime Matheus Cunha equalised with a quick response.
After the break the same Rogers grabbed his brace on 57th minute and that was the final score of the game. For Unai Emery’s side this victory became their tenth in a row across all competitions.
After this match Aston Villa sit third in the Premier League table with 36 points. Manchester United with 26 points are down in seventh place.
