Napoli striker Romelu Lukaku had his first full training with the team in four months. The forward is slowly returning to action after the injury he got on August 14 in a friendly game against Olympiacos (2:1). That time he seriously injured the rectus muscle in his left thigh.
Lukaku plays for the Neapolitans since 2024, and his contract is valid until 2027. Last season the Belgian was one of the main leaders in attack, he scored 14 goals and gave 11 assists in 38 matchs in all competitions.
According to Sky Sports Italy, the striker might return to the field already on December 18 – in the Italian Super Cup semi-final where Napoli will play against Milan.
By the way, Dovbyk is in Napoli’s transfer plans.
